I was not impressed with this young man's result. There have been wonderful advances in that department as of late. . .Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04071711894125638696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30499448.post-73598697794481403012007-08-06T19:58:00.000-07:002007-08-06T19:58:00.000-07:00Thanks a lot Lynn! We sometimes are intimidated by the complexities of a patient's past history and so fail to ask the obvious question. I have had several of these patients who had been terribly sick in the past and had stabilized, only to be satisfied with half a recovery. When you push things, they are initially reluctant, but it is always worthwhile to ask the question: "am I doing everything I can?"

I think the key here is that you did not assume that your previous assessments were correct. Why didn't you think of it sooner? It's easy to stick with the status quo. This is very satisfying when it happens.Dr. Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01871792467587364512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30499448.post-87367243378894826082007-08-06T07:59:00.000-07:002007-08-06T07:59:00.000-07:00Great story.
